Through the entrance you'll be greeted with stairs leading both up and down this split level home. Follow the stairs up to the main living area. Wall to wall wood floors glisten with the light that shines in from windows at all angles. A spacious living room with chalet style windows face the lake view and large yard. The combo will have you feeling relaxed and in vacation mode in an instant!

Around the corner you'll find a gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances including double oven, a professional gas stove top and dishwasher. The space is complimented with an additional coffee bar area. Perk up with your morning coffee and relax on the side deck that connects through the dining area. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to see some of the deer friends that gather in the wooded clearing!

Completing the upper level of this home you'll have three bedrooms and two baths. Travel downstairs to find your second living area. The family room has a cozy feel with over sized furniture. The fourth bedroom with both queen bed and twin bed and half bath are located off the family room.

Summary: The property has a well stocked kitchen four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. There is a very nice deck where you can eat and also part of the deck where you can sit and look at the water. There are steep steps to the lakefront. The steps are very sturdy. At the lake is a dock, lots of seating, a table and several kyacks.

Summary: The house accommodated our family of adults and teens very well. There were great gathering places. We enjoyed having the whole family eating on the deck and around the fire pit at night listening to music, chatting and eating s’mores. The kitchen was very well equipped. It seem to have more than enough glassware, dinnerware and kitchen utensils. That was a pleasant surprise. Not having an operating dishwasher and small drain rack for 8 people. Was problematic. We spent more time hand washing dishes then we wanted. If alerted would have brought paper plates at least. The basement bedroom didn’t have a functioning window and you had to go outside to shut it. The bedroom with the bath has a nighTstand that is in very poor condition and needs to be fixed. It is difficult to take a shower without getting water on the floor. The shower curtain needs to be adjusted. The garbage cans were always knocked over every night and garbage falling out. Need better cans so animal’s don’t get to them. We did call maintenance 1st thing Sat. Morning when we had the. Problem with dishwasher and window. He came fixed garbage cans but said the window and dishwasher he couldn’t repair. He seem to be upset with the owners and not us. It seems garbage, window and dishwasher has been a problem for awhile..

Summary: it would be ideal though if in the listing it mentions there is a grill, pokers for the fire, etc. otherwise it was a wonderful experience

Summary: Cayuga lake is beautiful and this house is in a quiet hamlet on the western shore. Access to the lake front was a highlight! The house however was musty (particularly the lower level) and the room air conditioning units were not up to the task of keeping the house comfortable. In fact, the unit in one of the bedrooms might not have been working at all. It might be much more enjoyable in the autumn when we could have enjoyed the fun stuff in the garage (foosball, air hockey, darts, etc.) with the doors wide open. Note that booking this property required working with a realtor, which adds extra step relative to bookings that I have previously made on VRBO. And, as the realtor instructions indicate, bring your own dishwasher soap, coffee filters, etc.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lakeview Landing! We stayed for a week with six of our 11 to 14 year-old grandsons and there was always something to do. The 3 kayaks we're a big hit at our personal dock, the foozball was fun, the game supplies were more than adequate, the kitchen had all the necessaries, and the home was clean, comfortable and relaxed. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was adequate for early June. Outside we enjoyed the large patio table, the beautiful lawn around the whole grounds and the fire pit with chairs for everyone. The location was central for visiting church history sites. Palmyra 1 hour; Fayette .5 hour; Harmony PA 2 hours. Rochester airport is 1.5 hours. Stop at Costco on your way in for groceries (shopping is not so good). The Creamery was a great place to order an ice cream cake. Thank you to the family who hosts this perfect lake house!

Summary: We enjoyed our time at the property. The house was 100 yards from the scenic lake and 1/4 mile from a vineyard. It was far enough away from Ithaca that one could enjoy the peacefulness but close enough to grab a morning coffee in town everyday. The property manager was informative and on the ball. We look forward to staying again.
